William E. Hall

Managing Director of Mega Projects, WorleyParsons

William (Bill) Hall is the Managing Director of Mega Projects within the WorleyParsons Group.  Prior to this appointment, he was Managing Director for Americas and Europe within the company.  Mr. Hall is also a Member of the Board of WorleyParsons.  He was appointed to both of these positions when Worley purchased Parsons E&C in November 2004.

Prior to these appointments, Mr. Hall was Chairman and CEO of the Parsons Energy & Chemicals Group Inc. from 2002 to the acquisition date.  He served as President of Parsons Energy & Chemicals Group Inc. (1997-2001), President of The Ralph M. Parsons Company (1992-1995), and Senior Vice President and Manager of the Petroleum & Chemical Division with the company (1989-1991).  Mr. Hall has a 26-year tenure with WorleyParsons.

Mr. Hall has spent more than 39 years in the engineering field in a career highlighted by extensive overseas experience.  At Parsons, he has held key project and other management positions, including a term as a Director of Saudi Arabian Parsons Limited.  In 1981, Mr. Hall became Manager, Community Projects, for the industrial city of Yanbu in Saudi Arabia.  In this capacity, he was responsible for the management of the design and construction of the community portion of the city.  In 1984, Mr. Hall was promoted to Program Manager on the Yanbu Project, where he led management of the planning, design, construction, start-up, operation, and maintenance for the city’s residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.

During his tenure in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Hall became known as a strong leader and an expert in project execution.  He utilized these traits in all of his subsequent positions where he was instrumental in the development and execution of significant contracts with a variety of worldwide petroleum and chemical companies.

Mr. Hall earned his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and completed the Executive Program at Stanford University.
