Joseph Fuller

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Monitor Group

Mr. Joseph Fuller is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Monitor Group (Monitor), a leading global consultancy firm.  He currently oversees the firm’s consulting operations in 27 offices globally.  In this capacity, he works with clients in a wide variety of industries, especially those with a heavy reliance on technology.  He has particularly deep experience in two of the world’s most dynamic sectors: life sciences and telecommunications.  He has advised leading companies and important regulatory bodies in both industries.  Some of Mr. Fuller’s areas of functional expertise include corporate strategy—including M&A strategy and integration—corporate governance, and organizational dynamics.

Mr. Fuller’s interest in research began during his collaboration with Professor Michael Porter of Harvard Business School on the development of the concepts presented in Mr. Porter’s book, Competitive Advantage.  In recent years, Mr. Fuller has focused his attention on the interaction of the capital markets and companies’ decision-making processes with a particular focus on the role of boards of directors.
