David is a native Texan.  However he was raised in Zachary, Louisiana just north of Baton Rouge.  A graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, he is however a die-hard LSU Tiger fan.  David holds a MBA in International Business with Honors from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, England, where his dissertation paper was on “Doing Business in Saudi Arabia.”

David began his career with Atlantic Richfield Chemical Company in 1976 and left in 1986 to start-up an environmental consulting company, Environmental Analytics Inc. (EA), which was sold in 1991.

After a brief retirement, David joined Rhino Technologies Inc. (RTI) as Business Development Manager in 1993.  RTI was a start-up technology company specializing in polymer-modified emulsions.

As a small company with annual revenues of $7 million in 1997 RTI made the decision to enter the Saudi Arabian market.  In 1997, David was promoted to VP of Global Business Development and in 2000 he was promoted to President of Rhino Middle East.  David was elected as CEO by RTI’s Board in 2009, with the understanding that he could remain in Saudi Arabia.

RTI was purchased in June of this year where David holds a Board of Directors position.

After a brief retirement, David joined the Tammi Commercial Group in August as Business Development Manager where he looks forward to assisting U.S. companies enter the Saudi Arabian market.
